15th Edition of the “In the Footsteps of General Nil – From Dusk Till Dawn” March

On August 28–29, 2026, the fifteenth edition of one of the most demanding events in Poland will take place. We are proud to announce that MAGNUM is once again the official partner of the event.

The “In the Footsteps of General Nil – From Dusk Till Dawn” March is an extreme nighttime challenge through the Beskid Wyspowy and Beskid Makowski mountain ranges, as well as a history lesson paying tribute to the soldiers of the Polish underground resistance and General “Nil” himself.

The rules of the competition are strict and extremely demanding: the march starts at astronomical sunset, and participants have approximately 11 hours to reach the finish line before dawn. The route leads through challenging terrain where selection for the NIL Military Unit is still conducted today. In this challenge, modern equipment is only a support — completing the march depends above all on strength of character, physical and mental fitness, and determination.
