The Coolslide Brand promotes winter sports

In February, the "Winter Sports Academy" was launched with classes encouraging children to practice less-popular winter disciplines. The Coolslide brand is one of the Project Sponsors. 

On February 13, in Opole on the Torpol ice skating rink, over 120 primary school students took part in unique classes, during which they got acquainted with more than 5 beautiful, spectacular and exiting winter sports. As none of them is very popular in our country, young people know very little about them. These are: snowboarding, hockey, short-track, curling and biathlon. The children had the opportunity to learn more about these disciplines and try their hand at them. There were 10 sport zones prepared for students, including mini ice hockey game, laser rifle shooting and trickboards for practicing balance. Similar classes took place on February 26 in Ustroń and February 27 in Cieszyn. The final event of this campaign will take place on April 2 in Opole.

The aim of the "Winter Sports Academy" Project is to promote winter sports at schools, especially in cities experienced in winter sports. Ambassadors of the project are well-known athletes: Mariusz Czerkawski, Zbigniew Bródka and Tomasz Sikora. The project is financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism under the patronage of the Polish Olympic Committee. Sports equipment is provided by the Coolslide Brand.
