AquaWave at ZŁOMBOL Charity Ride!
Another edition of ZŁOMBOL charity ride took place on the 2nd of September. All participants aimed to arrive at Spain and collect donations for children from children’s homes across the region of Silesia and Opole. AquaWave brand joined this event.
Old Timers to Support Children’s Homes
ZŁOMBOL is a charity ride combing admiration for old vehicles dated from the times of the Polish People’s Republic, love and passion for adventure and travelling, and a desire to help children from children’s homes in the region of Silesia and Opole. For the last 11 years, ZŁOMBOL participants have set distant destinations on the map of Europe and Africa.
This year’s ride to the Basque Country attracted 530 teams with old timers. AquaWave joined the Green Mile [Polish: Zielona Mila] Team to cover the distance from Katowice to Noja (5300km) with an old LUBLIN Van.
Charity ride participants managed to gather PLN 1 086 008 from donators! We are very happy that we could participate in this event and we would like to thank all participants who joined this initiative.
